Lecture One - Week 7

Kaitiakitanga - Guardianship and protection

An understanding of the environment and the people within it exist.
Same stream and place as last semester.
Working in groups of two, you will work through a series of exercises to identify small actions that we do in everyday life which can have a big impact/
Three supplied topics -
Plastic shopping bags
food waste
red meat
a topic of your own choice
Producing a motion graphics video approximately 30-60 seconds in length, which will be embedded into a website of your own design.
Video + Website create a narrative together.
30-60 seconds
Adobe After Effects
Live action footage, shot on any device.
All illustrated content should be original or out of copyright and correctly attributed.
Websites created with HTML and CSS, can include Javascript. Some templates will be provided.
Looked at the timeline, history to today of motion graphics and animation. - Saul Bass (first designed fit credits in the designed way). World Wide Web - First website ever published. Look at some of the motion graphics - chariot
We will leave CSS and HTML.
